2011 NFL Draft Running Back Rankings: Kadar vs Dove
Pro days are over and workouts are wrapping up so it's time to finalize positional rankings. One of the most intriguing thing about the NFL Draft process is that each person values prospects differently. For NFL talent evaluators and draft analysts alike, the rankings at the top look similar, but opinions vary on mid-level players.
Here at Mocking the Draft we wanted to show you how our opinions differ. Dan Kadar and Jon Dove are breaking down each position giving you their top 10 in each. Make sure to check out our scouting report page to get full reports on some of the prospects. Also don't hesitate to leave some feedback about our rankings or maybe even your own.
Running backs always give us a bit of surprise come draft time. There are players that go higher than expected and others that suffer big drops. The issues is that many feel that you can get great value in the later rounds and thus some running backs begin to slide. However, if you look back to last year's draft you will see that running backs still carry some value with CJ Spiller, Ryan Matthews, and Jahvid Best all going earlier than expected. This year it is very likely that we see only one running back selected in the 1st round. However, guys like Mikel Leshoure and Ryan Williams could surprise and end up at the tail end of round number one.
After the Jump check out our rankings where Dan and I agree on our top 3.

I do like Helu but i have the other guys ranked a little higher.. guys ranked 5-15 are very close. There isnt much separation between talent once you get past Ryan Williams, Leshoure, and Ingram

Come draft day
teams are going to be picking up some unreal talent in the second and third round. Stupid passing league.
i know im going to get shit for saying this
but noel devine will be one of the top backs out of this class when its all said and done. He has elite speed and is a very shifty back. He needs to add a little more bulk, which hes been doing, and he’ll serve as a great speed back/receiver out of the backfield. I understand the durability concerns and they are definitely warranted, but he gives great value considering where he will be drafted and a team will get a steal. Hopefully its the falcons haha
