2011 NFL Draft Wide Receiver Rankings: Kadar vs Dove
Pro days are over and workouts are wrapping up so it's time to finalize positional rankings. One of the most intriguing thing about the NFL Draft process is that each person values prospects differently. For NFL talent evaluators and draft analysts alike, the rankings at the top look similar, but opinions vary on mid-level players.
Here at Mocking the Draft we wanted to show you how our opinions differ. Dan Kadar and Jon Dove are breaking down each position giving you their top 10 in each. Make sure to check out our scouting report page to get full reports on some of the prospects. Also don't hesitate to leave some feedback about our rankings or maybe even your own.
As you can tell by our rankings, Georgia's A.J. Green and Alabma's Julio Jones are the clear cut two top receivers. After that, it comes down to personal preference. I tend to like bigger receivers more, and that's reflected in my top five especially.
Still, the gap between player three (Jon Baldwin) and six (Leonard Hankerson) is minuscule. This year's class might only get two players taken in the first round. The second round could see several wide receivers come off the board. Let us know what you think of the rankings and what your's look like.
| Rank | Dan Kadar's Ranking | Jon Dove's Ranking |
| 1 | A.J. Green | A.J. Green |
| 2 | Julio Jones | Julio Jones |
| 3 | Jon Baldwin | Titus Young |
| 4 | Titus Young | Jon Baldwin |
| 5 | Torrey Smith |
Leonard Hankerson |
| 6 | Leonard Hankerson | Torrey Smith |
| 7 | Jerrel Jernigan | Edmund Gates |
| 8 | Randall Cobb | Jerrel Jernigan |
| 9 | Ronald Johnson | Randall Cobb |
| 10 | Greg Little | Austin Pettis |

good to see someone else
on the Greg Little boat. He might be something real nice, if he can keep his head right

Little worries me
He has a terrible attitude on the field. He takes plays off, jaws w/ refs, a few penalties for celebration.. just risky to me

What are you guys thinking about Niles Paul?
I’m really not sure. He wasn’t exactly loved here at Nebraska becaquse of his consistency issues and big ego. But the talent is undeniably there and to be fair he was not in a very good situation for a WR with the QBs we’ve had and the offense we run. Big, strong, ran much faster at his Pro Day, dynamic ST player (possibly as both a returner and as a gunner)… But his hands are tiny and I don’t know about his attitude.
Go Suns, Packers, Jays, and Huskers!
Green Bay Packers: Super Bowl XLV Champions!!!!
I like Jon's picks
Similar to mine, I just don’t have Gates in the Top 10.
"Good, bad, I'm the guy with the gun."
I like Kadar's picks more
And also favor the bigger WR’s.
Here are mine
A J Green
Julio Jones
Jon Baldwin
Leonard Hankerson
Titus Young
Randall Cobb
Torrey Smith
Greg Little
Jerrel Jernigan
Niles Paul
Selling Lenny Hankerson short
Hankerson belongs above everyone on this list not named AJ or Julio. He’s the most complete NFL ready of any of the remaining WR outside of the top 2. he has a perfect blend of Size at 6’3 and 220lbs and speed to go with great hands and crisp routes. Sure he has room to improve, but he surely is more complete then Titus and Torrey and Baldwin.

Agreed
although I put him behind Torrey Smith on my list I consider the 2 of them interchangeable
