Dwayne Harris 2011 NFL Draft Prospect Notes
The 2011 NFL Draft is right around the corner and the staff at Mocking the Draft is working hard to bring you the most in depth information possible. We have spent countless hours reviewing college games in an attempt to produce scouting reports for each of the prospects. However, time is running out so we decided to release some scouting notes in order to cover a wider range of prospects.
After the jump you can check out the notes taken in order to come up with this final analysis. Be sure to check out our full scouting reports HERE. Also give us some feedback on whether or not these notes provide useful information.
Dwayne Harris
5'10, 203 pounds | Wide Receiver | ECU
Final Word: Harris has the makings of a decent NFL wide receiver. His quickness and athletic ability allow him to create separation and make plays down the field. It also makes him a threat with the football in his hands. His route running was good as he quickly worked in and out of his breaks. Harris' good balanced allowed him to snap off his routes and avoid wasted motions. He needs to really work on his concentration and avoid dropping the football. Harris could come off the board in the 4th or 5th rounds.

Notes:
- Harris has good quickness off the ball and a decent 2nd gear
- He is a 2 stepper with the ability to get up to full speed in a hurry
- Harris uses his hand to pluck the ball at its highest point but lost focus at times and dropped a few balls
- While he has inconsistent hands he can make the tough catch in traffic and isn't afraid of contact
- He has a good feel for the defense and is able to find and sit in the open holes.
- Harris runs balanced routes and works his way back to the quarterback
- He snaps his routes off clean and quick
- Has potential as a kick and punt return
