2011 NFL Draft Cornerback Rankings: Kadar vs Dove
Pro days workouts are over, so it's time to finalize positional rankings. One of the most intriguing thing about the NFL Draft process is that each person values prospects differently. For NFL talent evaluators and draft analysts alike, the rankings at the top look similar, but opinions vary on mid-level players.
Here at Mocking the Draft we wanted to show you how our opinions differ. Dan Kadar and Jon Dove are breaking down each position giving you their top 10 in each. Make sure to check out our scouting report page to get full reports on some of the prospects. Also don't hesitate to leave some feedback about our rankings or maybe even your own.
As you'll see, our top three is probably the same as everyone else. We both also think pretty highly of Miami's Brandon Harris, Texas' Aaron Williams and Curtis Brown and Virginia's Ras-I Dowling.
We also differ a good bit. Jon likes Buffalo's Josh Thomas. When I put up my final position rankings this weekend, I'll have him 22nd. A player similar to him in style is New Mexico State's Davon House. I really like his physical nature and ability to play bigger receivers. But while he's in my top 10, he's not in Jon's. Do your rankings vary as much as ours do? Let us know in the comments.
| Rank | Dan Kadar's Rankings | Jon Dove's Rankings |
| 1 | Patrick Peterson | Patrick Peterson |
| 2 | Prince Amukamara | Prince Amukamara |
| 3 | Jimmy Smith | Jimmy Smith |
| 4 | Aaron Williams | Brandon Harris |
| 5 | Brandon Harris | Ras-I Dowling |
| 6 | Brandon Burton | Aaron Williams |
| 7 | Curtis Brown | Curtis Brown |
| 8 | Ras-I Dowling | Johnny Patrick |
| 9 | Davon House | Marcus Gilchrist |
| 10 | Johnny Patrick | Josh Thomas |

I think Dan's is spot on
another sleeper to watch is Curtis Marsh out of Utah State
Dear Theo, please trade Crawford, Salty, Lackey, and Jacoby for nothing.
Anyone stupid enough to take those contracts can have them.
Curtis Brown went to Texas
Curtis Brown, Aaron Williams, and Chykie Brown are all Texas DBs that will be drafted.
Who are you?!
I'm Kick Ass!
Eeenie... meenie... miney... MOE!
Harris over Dowling!

Do you guys see Aaron Williams as being better at CB or S?

Safety
He showed really poor hands at the combine, and people say because of how poorly he did at the combine he basically played his way out of the first. That being said he is an extremely talented tackler for a DB hes not afraid of getting in there, but his hands are not to be envious of so I think he’ll go in the back of the 2nd round as a Safety
I watched the NFL Network show Gamechangers with he and Prince.
Williams is athletic and went up and made some great catches. But Prince looked a lot more fluid and a lot quicker. He just looked more natural in the drill.
