Ravens continue strong draft with Chykie Brown, Pernell McPhee
Ozzie Newsome is showing on the third day of the NFL Draft why he's so highly regarded.
In cornerback Chykie Brown and defensive end Pernell McPhee, the Ravens drafted two players who are good scheme fits on their 3-4, press coverage defense.
McPhee has flown under the radar but projects nicely as a three-technique end. Brown is used to playing in tight coverage at Texas. He has good size, which is what Baltimore looks for in cornerbacks.
The Ravens have done a nice job doubling up on positions in this draft. They've taken two cornerbacks (Brown and Jimmy Smith) and two wide receivers (Torrey Smith and Tandon Doss). All four of those players project as future starters. Throw in a developmental offensive tackle with high upside in Jah Reid and it's easy to see why Newsome is considered a talent evaluator.

The 2010 Bucs: Considering their two-minute offense works wonders... Why can't EVERY offensive drive be run like that during the other 58 minutes of the damn game?!
