Top 25 undrafted players from the 2011 NFL Draft

The 2011 NFL Draft has come and gone, leaving many undrafted players wondering what their future holds. Due to the ongoing NFL lockout, it's unknown when undrafted players can be signed as free agents.

This year's group of top undrafted free agents is loaded with big-name players. Several of them weren't drafted due to injury or character issues.

But if you go through any NFL roster, it's loaded with players who weren't picked. Look at even the Pro Bowl roster this year. Twenty-three players named to the Pro Bowl were undrafted free agents. So for the players after the jump, there is still a chance to make an impact.

the Navy SEALS from Abbottadad?

Surprised they didn’t go First Round… what, Too Soon?

The 2010 Bucs: Considering their two-minute offense works wonders... Why can't EVERY offensive drive be run like that during the other 58 minutes of the damn game?!

Tejay Johnson

Was not drafted because he opted for a non-NFL career working with the deaf.

Some of these names astound me

There should not be guys we were discussing as possible 3rd rounders on this list. Last year there was Ciron Black. Now a whole bunch. I can only guess that a couple had major character flaws we did not know about. Deunta Williams should not be on this list even if he shot someone.

Pat Devlin surprises me the most

Not because he is more talented, but because he is a QB. I expected Arizona, Washington or Seattle to take a flier on him.

Tori Gurley is another surprise to me.

Well..

Devlin decided to show up late to his pro day and proceed to butcher it completely. He did it to himself.

Too much stock is put on pro days IMO

But ya I see your point. He didn’t show up during the playoffs of Shrine game either. I guess I just expected one of those teams I mentioned to take a flier on him especially with FA up in the air again.

Devlin plays the most important position on the field

The games I watched he showed talent (New Hampshire and Georgia Southern). I can forgive a bad Shrine Game week and Pro Day. I think he has more potential than Enderle, who went in the 5th.

I agree about the Enderle comparison

Enderle showed me nothing. But I can’t complain too much since it was the bears who drafted Enderle ;-)

But Devlin did not look sharp at all vs E. Washington

He was outplayed by E. Washingtons QB.

Pierre Allen has zero character issues as far as I'm aware of.

Plus he has a ton of starting experience and seems to be a good locker-room guy. He’s talented and has intangibles. I’m really shocked.

Deandre McDaniel and Kris O'Dowd surprise me the most

they were both considered possible first rounders at one time.

Dan, do you know if Mike McNeill decided not to enter his name in the draft?

He wasn’t on the NFL.com database at all, and obviously went undrafted. He went through the Senior Bowl and it sounded like he was getting plenty of attention from teams. Did he just decide to do something else with his life?

How about Jake Kirkpatrick

I thought he would be a mid rd. selection, he was this years Rimington award winner. I know it was weak class for Centers but I thought he was better than at least three listed above

Shhhhh!

he’s ours. hands off.

lol, you guys aren’t the only ones who need a Center in that division, besides, you had a kick ass draft. We still have some major holes to fill.

You can have O'Dowd

Good for ZBS. Take Devlin while you are at it.

where is Mana Silva?

He doesn’t have a ton of experience, but his box #’s were good and he had good production at Hawaii. Where does he fit on this list?

Defense is more important than breathing.
