NFL Draft rankings: Players 101-125

Between now and April, draft rankings will change plenty. But the idea behind releasing rankings before the college football season is to gauge what players are worth paying the most attention to.

Earlier this month, I put up my initial top 100 players. While that list remains unchanged, it's a list worth expanding. After the jump, check out players 101 through 125. See the entire top 125 here. On that page we're also indexing the offseason prospect notes and profiles.

Check out the rankings, let me know who is missing and who should be ranked higher. If you have your own, toss them up in a FanPost.

That question kind of goes hand in hand with pre-season poll rankings. Will it still look the same/seem as deep after they play this upcoming season? Plus, how may juniors declare? More analysis needed, but of the top 20 on the list, only 3 are seniors and guaranteed to be available for the 2012 Draft.

Meant to add, that if all of Luck, Barkley, and Jones declare, it could end up being pretty deep at QB. D-Line still looks deep as does WR, but most everything else looks top heavy or worse.

A few qualms....

I’d say Michael Mauti should be top 125. Bias towards Penn State aside, a guy that get called a “More Athletic” Jack Ham (By our LB coach) probably should get ranked top 125. When he was healthy, he really was a playmaker. For instance, with him vs Ohio State last year their offense did nothing. Then he went down with an injury and Dan Herron just took off.

And again, trying not to be that biased, but Devon Still should probably be up there too judging by some of those DT’s up there. Maybe I’m putting too much stock into the bowl game (Where he dominated Hurt & Pouncey) but I’d says he should be up there.

I’d rank DeCastro higher, same w/Hosley & Chapman.

And Eddie Whitley & Keith Zeitler should be ranked imo. Liked the rankings overall though.
