Rock out with your 2012 NFL mock draft out: Andrew Perloff

A third different mock draft. A third different team picking No. 1. Each going with Stanford's Andrew Luck No. 1.

Sports Illustrated's Andrew Perloff, aka McLovin on The Dan Patrick Show, gives Luck to the Buffalo Bills in his mock. Much like other mock drafters, Perloff has Luck, USC's Matt Barkley and Oklahoma's Landry Jones in the top 10. THose aren't the only quarterbacks he has in the first round, though.

Star-divide

With the 29th pick of the draft, Perloff has the Jets choosing Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin. Perloff expects Griffin to be used in a similar fashion as Brad Smith. It's questionable, though, if a team should use a first-round pick on strictly a gadget player.

Perloff nicely mixes in some different players on the back-end of his mock. He has South Carolina defensive end Devin Taylor going to San Diego and Miami's big safety Ray Ray Armstrong going to the Colts.

In a field where you see so much similar stuff, it's nice to see some variety.

Read Perloff's full mock draft here.

Highly doubt the Ravens don’t make playoffs while the Browns do.

He had the Browns picking third. The 28th pick was coming from the Atlanta trade.

Plus he does have the Ravens making the playoffs.

He just has them having the worst regular season record of the playoff teams.

nah, nope....if Vontaze Burfict or Manti Te'o are still there

The Giants would not pass on them. Couldn’t do it if they followed BPA.

“The Giants passed on the opportunity to draft an OL in the first round this past year”

Oh..oh my god. We passed on Anthony Castanzo! Why did we do that!!!!!

Giants draft the best player available. I’ve seed Adams play, and he’s OK. Maybe he’s worth the pick, but with Alshon Jeffrey and Vontaze Burifict right there, one being a true BPA and the other being just as much a “need” position as OT, I’d go with the better player.

Just cuz you draft an OL in the middle rounds doesn’t mean you didn’t address the position. I’d probably rather have James Brewer in the 4th instead of Castanzo in the 1st anyway.

Doubt Denver goes OT first round next year

they just drafted one in the 2nd and of course you got Clady on the right. In that situation, Denver would probably go Gilmore, Crick, or Worthy

I have a hard time taking McLovin seriously

if you have watched The DP Show you’ll know why

I tend to believe he’s more of a character than anything else on that show. It’s hard to be a dummie and graduate from Dartmouth (or wherever), get a job at SI and at the DP Show.

>Bengals select an OT

ehhhhh

i see it, but…not really. if anything, i’d expect a running back if benson moves on or a cb. definitely leaning towards cb here.
