Top 10 Fantasy Football Rookies
I got an email today to renew my Yahoo fantasy football league and that got me thinking. I know we are still having labor problems but the recent optimism has me thinking fantasy football. Fantasy football has taken the world by storm and is a major part of football experience. Below I have a list of rookies that have an opportunity to make an impact and help your fantasy football team. Keep in mind that specific positions are valued higher than others. Also the quarterbacks might carry more value in keeper leagues.

Daniel Thomas?
Also, the top rookies being WRs is unusual, even in this RBBC era. I’m not sure I’d gamble on AJ Green’s situation, talent aside.
But that’s what the preseason is for!
I like Green, Jones, and Baldwin. All the others I hate and wouldn’t draft any of the running backs until pretty late. To be fair though, I probably wouldn’t pick any of these guys before like the 5th round. I actually really like Baldwin’s potential simply because somebody other than Dwayne Bowe needs to catch passes in that offense.
Let the beasting begin.

Can't argue with this
I’m excited for LeShoure. I think he’ll get the majority of the carries and if his 2010 season is any indication it should be a beast one. I think he could be OROTY
If you reply to a comment/post/fanshot of mine, I will more likely then not respond to it, unless you come off like a d-bag.
Not playin Auburn homer here
But if one were to chance taking a rookie QB, I’d have to say Newton would be the safest bet. He has Steve Smith and two talented backs, plus the fact that his rushing numbers will probably be some of the best among quarterbacks should he start all year.

With Cincy's situation, I wouldn't touch Green
Julio would get a mild look, but from the kids drafted I focus more on RB’s more than anything

My thoughts as well.
I would have Jones over Green considering the quarterback situations of both teams.
Proud fan of Pittsburgh's professional sports teams and the Pirates too.

Agreed. I think Julio will have a much more consistent season than Green. I can see Green having a couple big games based on his athletic ability, but don’t see him being very consistent based on the situation.
On Ed Reed:
"I’ve told him to his face many times, ‘You’re the greatest safety ever to play the game,’"
"We all learn from each other, but we all learn most from him."

If the draft comes before the lockout ends
I’d gamble on Locker as I think he’s likely to start, has solid skill guys to take the load off, and is a threat with his legs. Out of the WR group, I think Jones (and for the same reasons to a lesser extent Young) can have a good year due to a solid QB and legit #1 WR. From the RB group, LeShoure should sniff 300 carries this year and I see 9-10 TD’s from him and Ingram.
Redraft vs. Dynasty
I wouldn’t touch QBs or WRs in redraft leagues. The learning curve is far too steep. Julio Jones is the only one who might be an exception because he is likely to start and has a franchise QB in place. RBs are plug and play. Ingram and Thomas lead the way there, but are no better than third rounders there. The rest barely warrant a roster spot to start the season. LeShoure possibly as well since he might win the goal line carries and Best is likely to get hurt again.
Dynasty leagues are a totally different story. WRs are inherently more valuable here because of their long shelf life. AJ Green in spite of his QB situation is still #1 on my board by sheer talent alone. Megatron hasn’t had much to work with in Detroit, but still puts up top fantasy numbers. See also Larry Fitzgerald. Julio Jones is #2 for dynasty leagues followed by Mark Ingram. Those three are far ahead of anyone else in my book. Ryan Williams, Daniel Thomas, Greg Little, Leshoure, Torrey Smith, Baldwin and Hankerson are all in the mix for the rest of the first round. If you need a QB this year… good Luck. ; )

Um...
I think you meant Jon Baldwin. Judging by your link, Johnny Baldwin is a completely different player.
