Dove's 2012 NFL Draft Rankings: Guard/Center
The college football season is creeping closer and closer which means it is time to start ranking draft prospects. These rankings will be subject to change throughout the season. Each week the players will either help or hurt their draft stock impacting the position ranking. Don't forget that someone always emerges and becomes a surprise top prospect, like Nick Fairley.
Over the past several years, interior lineman have seen a raise in their draft stock. NFL teams are realizing the value of a dominant guard or center. This year's class features several excellent prospects and we could see the most ever interior offensive linemen go in the 1st round. Iowa State's Kelechi Osemele has tremendous upside and versatility as he could potentially play tackle. If he has a good season a team might look at him early in the draft.
After the jump, check out my preseason guard/center rankings for the 2012 NFL Draft.
| Rank | Player | College |
| 1 | Kelechi Osemele | Iowa State |
| 2 | Cordy Glenn | Georgia |
