Red Flag Alert: Cliff Harris

The Red Flag Alert will focus on NFL prospects that have situations that might raise concerns.  These could be injury issues, character problems, runs in with the law, or anything that might impact their future.  One thing to keep in mind with the Red Flag Alert is that some of the accusations will be just rumors but the majority of our reports will come from reliable sources.  Don't expect to see a report about a rumor about a former college roommate or something to that affect.  However, the fact remains that every rumor or issue could impact a players draft stock.

This offseason Cliff Harris was cited for driving on a suspended license and also at a speed of over 110 MPH.  This was no doubt a major mistake and really makes you question Harris' decision making process.  He has been suspended for at least the 1st game against LSU.  This situation shows how off the field issues could impact a team as Oregon will no doubt miss Harris against LSU.

Harris has an opportunity to put this issue behind him and rebuild his image.  It will be very important for Harris to stay out of the headlines and focus on football.  However, this will be something that will come up as Harris goes through his pre-draft interviews.
