Rock out with your mock draft out: Draft Season
NFL Draft memes are funny business. Once one starts, they reach a bubbling inferno of ridiculousness. The most current one is the Indianapolis Colts being the worst team in the NFL.
Despite losing today to the Cleveland Browns, the Colts' offense looked much better. It's clear quarterback Kerry Collins needs to develop a better rapport with the receivers. For now, though, NFL Draft sites are putting the Colts into pick No. 1 and, of course, giving them Andrew Luck. That's the case in the latest from Draft Season.
The site also has another obvious choice giving the Seattle Seahawks quarterback Matt Barkley. One normalcy Draft Season breaks is placing Arizona quarterback Nick Foles in the first round, going to the Washington Redskins at No. 23.
The only real surprise player in the first round is Oklahoma State offensive tackle Levy Adcock going 29th overall to the Baltimore Ravens. It's an obvious scheme and need fit, so that projection is a smart one.
Make sure to check out the full Draft Season mock draft here.

Nate Potter in the 1st?
That is a surprise to me. Moore should be the 1st Boise St player drafted.
Eagles flipped 180 degrees. No more big linemen.

The Colts will not get the #1 pick
They might be bad without Manning but there are far worse teams. However I am going to make a bold prediction… the Colts will draft Landry Jones with their 1st round pick next year.
Think about it. He runs an offense that is somewhat similar to the Colts offense and he’s got the tools to be a franchise QB. If Manning’s neck is as bad as it sounds, I don’t think he has more than 1 or 2 years left. Jones is the perfect option (outside of Luck) to sit, learn from, and eventually succeed Manning.
Just like when the Packers drafted Rodgers, I think the Colts will find that guy to succeed Manning this year and my bet is that it will be Jones.
And now for something completely different
if that were the case
you’d at least expect the colts to trade down cuz I imagine everyone else will still want Luck. they could get a king’s ransom and the guy they want
If they are picking 1st, they'll take Luck
I just don’t think they will which is why I’m saying they will pick Jones

I think it's too early to tell
if Peyton makes it back late this year and looks like himself, you can’t take Luck unless Peyton tells you he’s not sticking around for more than another season or two. Not very long ago the talk was that his new deal was devoid of “funny money” because he planned to play the whole deal out.

Manning has the exact same injury which forced Sterling Sharpe to retire early
He was able to get it fixed for last year but this is now his third surgery on his neck for the same injury and if complications keep coming up with his neck, he’ll be forced to retire. If the surgery and recovery goes smoothly and he decides to come back, he is also running the risk of being paralysed from one hit.
He might try to come back for one or two more years but I think Manning’s retirement is coming much sooner than most people expect.

Manning's got a bulging disc in his neck
Sharpe had damage to his vertebrae. So while yes, I shouldn’t have said exact same injury, both injuries are very similar and have very similar implications. It’s a neck/spine injury. Both leave numbness in limbs and cause pain and muscle spasms and both can leave you paralyzed after one bad hit. If Manning continues to have problems with his neck, he’ll be forced to retire. The fact that Manning flew to Europe to get stem cell therapy on his neck should show how dire the situation actually is.

Oh my bad,
I thought you meant that Peyton had the same injury in his neck he had last year. Also, it’s not the same as Sharpe’s injury though.
I’d say the treatment in Europe shows you more how frustrated he is. Remember, he expected to be at training camp.

that's why he isn't on IR yet?
it’s possible his career is over, and likely it’s been shortened, but he’s probably coming back next year.

Agreed...
I don’t know how anyone after watching the first 2 weeks (including there franchise RB being lost for the year) can’t put KC finishing last. Cassel has played just awful, so they would definitely pick Luck if that was the case.
Catch the Taste!
Sucks but it's true
Chiefs have just been horrible

I loved Kirkpatrick before the season
but I’ve heard he still hasn’t improved aspects of his game he needed to to become a top 10 pick, is this true Dan?
BTW, hope you enjoyed that fantasy smackdown I gave you this week lol
Raiders suck
Chargers are whiny douches
Chiefs are meh
While Jeffrey is a stud, I believe if the Panthers are in position to take Matt Kalil...
They’d do it in a heartbeat.
I could live with Landry Jones
