Rock out with your mock draft out: Draft Season
As the third week of the NFL season winds down, most mock drafts are starting with the Indianapolis Colts, Kansas City Chiefs and Seattle Seahawks.
With those three, there is also some combination of quarterbacks Andrew Luck and Matt Barkley and offensive tackle Matt Kalil. That's the case in the latest Draft Season mock, which has it the Colts with Luck, the Chiefs with Kalil and the Seahawks with Barkley.
I like this mock because it task some chances in the top 10. The Broncos are given Washington defensive tackle Alameda Ta'amu and the 49ers get LSU cornerback Morris Claiborne. Anyone out there think they're top 10 players? Both are off to a good start this season.
One pick that now looks like it will be interesting is the one belonging to the St. Louis Rams. Off to an 0-3 start, there are a number of ways the Rams could go. They could use a running back to spell Steven Jackson, but the team also needs a dependable wide receiver. If Justin Blackmon and Alshon Jeffery are gone, would the Rams be forced into picking Michael Floyd?
The biggest pick I have contention with is the last one. This mock sends Jerel Worthy to the Patriots. While that would be great value, I'm not sure the Patriots would go after a sometimes lazy player like Worthy.
Let me know what you think of this mock. I encourage everyone to post their on in a Fan Post. I'd love to have a reader mock on the "main" part of the site at all times.

Eventually the Giants drafting a LB stuff has to die out
I like Burfict. I like Te’o and Kuechley too. But the Giants aren’t going to draft them. Not when Jacquain Williams continues to play extremely well. Besides, they’ve drafted defense in the first two or even three rounds the past two drafts. I doubt they’ll be going defense again.
I guess its a good thing that the Michael Floyd to teh Giants stuff lays on the back burner. Usually the guy the Giants get mocked they never draft, and if they do…his career never starts (Clint Sintim…)
Last night, a comedian died in New York. Somebody knows why. Somebody knows
yeah Jacquain Williams was a great draft pick
Bruce Carter+Sean Lee=BRUCE LEE!!!!

Choke/Clutch is the fetishization of the small sample size.

McDonald in the Top 20?
Watched his crap last night. I want a safety who is not too lazy to lift his arms to make a tackle. Cheap penalties – he should have been tossed after the second one.

Love Ta'amu
and whileI haven’t aught any of his games, I heard he was doing well. I just hope he has the value wherever the Broncos draft to get him
Raiders suck
Chargers are whiny douches
Chiefs are meh
19. Buffalo Bills – Luke Kuechly LB, Boston College – Buffalo is in desperate need of an offensive tackle but pass in round 1 to get one of the most complete defenders in the entire draft. Buffalo currently has no longterm solution on their roster at inside linebacker.
The Bills just drafted Kelvin Sheppard and Chris White to be ILBs. They added FAs Barnett and Morrison to team with Andre Davis as veteran starters/primary back-up at ILB. Additionally Bills GM Buddy Nix is not overly fond of drafting non-seniors as a general rule.
As for OTs, and the O-Line in general, saying “desperately needed” is a poor choice of words. Through three games the Bills have given up 1 sack total by KCs Hali. They are hopeful 4th round pick Hairston pans out. He has looked promising.
As things are right now there are two areas of concern next draft. One is CB. Terrence McGee, oft injured, & Drayton Florence are pretty good but are both 30+ YO. Two CBs were just drafted (Aaron Williams and Justin Rodgers) but one more stud would be nice. The other area is a future OLB, maybe two, to replace Chris Kelsay and, if he doesn’t last, Shawne Merriman.
It is still too early pin things down. Other positions to look at may be OG to groom and another WR. HC Chan Gailey loves him some WRs.
The Bills have drafted well these two most recent drafts, and have found some gems among the UDFAs. Their improved play this year is due partly to that aspect, along with the second year of the Gailey regime. There is more needed, but it is not as bleak as has been the case for many years.

When the job is finished no one remembers how long it took, just how well it was performed.

Ravens
would love Te’o. Really hoping we end up with him or Burfict.
On Ed Reed:
"I’ve told him to his face many times, ‘You’re the greatest safety ever to play the game,’"
"We all learn from each other, but we all learn most from him."

Ta'amu has not looked good this season
I would not consider him in the early 1st and I’m a Husky fan. He looked much better last year, he has looked slow and has not been getting as much push this year.
I honestly didn't even notice him when they came to Nebraska.
Our OL had by far the best game of the season against him and his fellow linemen.
