This follows up a Jan. 1 report that Mortensen had on Sunday NFL Countdown that Griffin would go pro. Griffin, this season's Heisman Trophy winner, will unquestionably be the second quarterback drafted after Stanford's Andrew Luck. How high he goes is the question.
The St. Louis Rams, who hold the No. 2 pick in the draft, will be able to ask for quite a bit in return to a team wanting Griffin. Suitors could be the Washington Redskins (who have the No. 6 pick), Cleveland Browns (picks four and 22) and Miami Dolphins (pick eight or nine).
