Coastal Carolina's Josh Norman Impressing at East-West Shrine Game
Josh Norman may be from a small school, but he is impressing scouts in practice at the East-West Shrine Game this week. Listed at 6-feet-2-inches tall and 190 pounds, the former Coastal Carolina cornerback has the size and athleticism that pro scouts will be looking for in the secondary. In the scrimmage at today's practice Norman has picked off multiple passes and continued to shine, according to Tony Pauline via Twitter.
The small school stigma has caused Norman's draft status to be estimated at a late round pick. But after a strong week against noteworthy competition, Norman is rising up draft boards, Dane Brugler of CBSSports.com noted. Several NFL teams took the time to talk to Norman after practice.
Size, athleticism and ball skills. What more could an NFL team ask for in a mid-round selection? He may not be an all-star against the run, but Norman has the feet and hips to be an excellent nickel corner. It will be interesting to see how he performs throughout the rest of the pre-draft process.

Yeah
Sorry about the confusion. He’s a corner. Had three picks today.
