MTD Communtiy Big Board 1-7

With the senior bowl coming up I thought we could start the MTD Community Big Board. It’s community driven by letting the readers vote on where they think prospects will place. I’m stealing this from Minor League Ball so props to them. Anyways, basically how this goes is I’ll name a bunch of prospects in separate comments. You all just have to reply to the comment of the player you think deserves that spot and put a +1 to it. Since there are concerns about this ‘wasting’ space on the fanpost section it’ll be a weekly thread meaning regular polls can’t work. However at the end of each day the voting will end for one spot and the next day we'll continue on the same thread.

For a prospect to earn his spot he must receive 66 percent of the votes. If that does not happen then there will be a tiebreaker between the top two prospects based on vote percentage. After we vote on them the winner takes the spot and the loser is back in the pool for the next spot on the big board.

It takes about 3 seconds to do and at the end of each day our big board gets bigger. By the beginning of April we should have a big board of 50 players to use as reference. Of course injuries happen every year causing stocks to drop or at the last minute someone really rises with a good combine for example. For extreme cases a voter will nominate a spot where they think this prospect should be. For example let’s say Andre Luck’s throwing arm got paralyzed but he’s so good that he’s a good prospect with his other hand. Obviously he won’t be as good so any MTD reader can put a comment asking for a re-placement of Luck and will put in a number where he thinks he should be. So in this example I say Luck is now the 30th best prospect. Everyone votes and the majority wins.

The number one spot will be a trial run since no one has qualms of whoever that number one pick is. But we’ll do it to get a feel of things. So remember just put a +1 on who you think deserves that number one spot and so on and so forth.

If it's deemed spam, it gets deleted.

Juice Williams?

Flacco has to trust his receivers to make catches, but shouldn’t throw towards coverage. He needs to attack deep more often, but shouldn’t hold onto the ball so long. He needs to show more awareness in the pocket and move to extend plays, but nothing good comes of him leaving the pocket. He should run with the ball if nobody’s open, but he definitely can’t run with the ball.

Flacco should have the awareness of Roethlisberger, the elusiveness of Vick, the control of the offense of Manning, the leadership of Brady, the accuracy of Brees, and the arm strength of … Flacco? - Ampallang
