Yea I love Datko
as a prospect. I think talent wise he’s the 2nd or third best OT in the draft.

It was a coin flip there
I just figured with the depth this class has at cb, the Panthers could take the hometown DE there.

Jags
Blackmon IS a reach at 7. Sure he may be the #1 talent at WR and people swoon over him to the point that he WILL be overdrafted, but I am not sure the jags will be the team to overdraft him. Coples and Reiff and Claiborne and Martin are all better picks, although to be honest, as I look at this draft more I realize this could not be done seriously. Mike Adams as the 2nd tackle taken?!! Markelle Martin in the first?!! Brandon Boykin in the first?!!

Why wouldn't Adams be the second tackle taken

I mean the suspension hurt him, but
with his showing at the senior bowl, and what I expect him to do at the combine, I do expect him to leapfrog both Martin, and Reiff.

You want to know why Adams is not going to be the 2nd tackle taken? ask just about any buckeye fan out there. He is a solid player but by no stretch of the imagination is he worthy of a high first round grade. he is significantly worse then Reiff, martin, and maybe even another one or two of the tackle prospects.

As a matter of fact heres a really easy rule to remember when drafting lineman
when choosing between a guy, who needs to work on his technique, or a guy that needs to add strength, always choose the guy who needs the technique work.

What really matter is using a top 5 pick on a RT!!!!!!
Penn was in the probowl last year and unless Kalil drops no way they take a tackle at all. BTW he didn’t impress that much at the senior bowl. The best players don’t even go to the senior bowl anymore.

Clairborne, Martin, & Coples could be gone by #7. I think you guys trade with Cleveland @#4 and take Blackmon.
1. RGIII gone by #4 pick, Trade the pick – not taking another rock star LT (Martin), we’ve got the BEST1, so we trade to Jags #7 (getting there 2nd rounder, & 2013 2nd or 3rd) and the can take Blackmom or Martin, probably Blackmon. @ #7, Cleveland Selects D. DeCastro – OG. @#22 We take A. Jeffery – WR
2. @ #36 – C. Minnefield – CB, @#39 D. Jones – WR
3. @ #68 – T. Carder – LB
4. @100 – F Alexander – DE & @ #116 – C. Messina – LB
Thats the first 4 rounds. Not Sexy either but extremely solid, Addressing all true needs, OL, WR, LB, DE, CB. The 5-7th rounds, another RB, OL, WR, LB, Or DE.

You just hate receivers, don't you? Lol
Blackmon would be an absolute STEAL at 7, especially with the teams ahead of you. He would do wonders for Gabbert’s development, and would make your passing game much better. Better passing game, less wear and tear on Pocket Hercules, better team overall.
Drew Brees- the REAL MVP.
Wow.
I agree that Richardson won’t go as high as a lot of people are projecting but I would still be surprised if he made it to 25th, I see him going around 10-20 range. Having said that… AWESOME BRONCOS PICK!
I am a fan of a team in the NBA, MLB, NHL, and NFL. I haven't seen the playoffs since April 28th, 2008 (1st round exit by raps). I haven't seen playoffs past the 1st round since January 26th, 2006. Stop and think about how insane it is. And depressing.
From a Broncos perspective he is the number 2 player on my board for the whole draft, Claiborne is 1. So this would be a great start to the draft for me.

Steelers
Konz would be the best pick at 24, not Datko. We need G/ILB/NT, not tackles, and especially not tackles who aren’t worth a first round pick.
"If you havin' dragon problems I feel bad for you son, I got 99 arrows but my knee took one."
And there is no way Glenn goes before DeCastro. That would be one of the biggest mistakes ever made by the Cardinals.
"If you havin' dragon problems I feel bad for you son, I got 99 arrows but my knee took one."
Crazy stuff happens in the draft man. I am sure people said there is no way Tyson Alualu would go 10th overall, or James Carpenter would go 1st round, or Heyward-Bey would go ahead of Crabtree, etc.
GM’s draft differently and sometimes see something of their preference in one guy over another. Too early right now to see where each player will go, but not a stretch with 3 full months left of evaluations.
Flacco has to trust his receivers to make catches, but shouldn’t throw towards coverage. He needs to attack deep more often, but shouldn’t hold onto the ball so long. He needs to show more awareness in the pocket and move to extend plays, but nothing good comes of him leaving the pocket. He should run with the ball if nobody’s open, but he definitely can’t run with the ball.
Flacco should have the awareness of Roethlisberger, the elusiveness of Vick, the control of the offense of Manning, the leadership of Brady, the accuracy of Brees, and the arm strength of … Flacco? - Ampallang

Picking Glenn over DeCastro is less crazy than it is stupid. At this point, the only thing that could make any sane GM choose Glenn over DeCastro is if DeCastro shows up to the combine with one leg or something, and even then I’d take him over that fat boy.
"If you havin' dragon problems I feel bad for you son, I got 99 arrows but my knee took one."
I agree that DeCastro is the superior talent and one of the best run blocking Guard prospects I have ever seen, but just saying that crazy things do happen in these drafts.

Chances are LT isn't coming back,
Meaning Shonn Greene is the only guy who can go every down, considering Joe Mcknight isn’t all that durable. Every team needs a solid backup, so ya I’d also like a decent RB, maybe Polk or Doug Martin.

Ravens
Not a bad pick. Love him as a player and C is a need, but not sure we will draft one that early. I think we may re-sign Gurode and draft a C late. Would rather have Burfict, but not bad. Could be a real option if we can’t get a deal with Grubbs and we could have him play G for a little while.

Good job switching up the picks.
Tired of seeing the same mocks over and over again. There is still so much time for people to change their minds about certain players, especially with the pro-days and combine coming up.

Cleveland trades the 4th to 7th and takes Decastro. Why? Why not take the best rookie OG, and add him to a line that includes a Probowl LT, LG, & C. Resigning Hillis, and adding a RB later in the draft. Also buys time for McCoy to be effective in the passing game

Seahawks
CB isn’t really a need. Browner made the Pro Bowl, Sherman was better and both were backups in the preseason. Jenkins might be a value pick but he’d be shorter than the starting CBs by about 5 inches and would be competing for a backup spot.
A pass-rusher would probably be a better pick here.
