Rutgers WR Mohamed Sanu enters 2012 NFL Draft

Rutgers junior wide receiver Mohamed Sanu announced at a news conference today that he's entering the 2012 NFL Draft. That disproves a "report" by a free New York newspaper from last month that Sanu would return to school.

This season, Sanu had 115 receptions for 1,206 yards and 7 touchdowns. He profiles as a very good No. 2 receiver in the NFL. He's not a dynamic playmaker and has questionable size. But other than Oklahoma State's Justin Blackmon, Sanu may have the best hands in this year's draft.

He optimistically projects as a late first-round pick but gets out-shined by bigger, faster wide receivers like Blackmon and Notre Dame's Michael Floyd. Sanu was at his best this season when Rutgers ran him on shallow crossing routes. It showed Sanu isn't afraid to go over the middle and can make catches in traffic.

As a sophomore in 2010, Rutgers used Sanu as their Wildcat quarterback. He also has special teams experience.

Have to throw out there that Ryan Broyles has the best hands in the draft, followed by Blackmon :)

I support the Giants like bras support Kim Kardashian's boobs. It can be a struggle, we've had some jiggles, but we're still firm.

Will be most productive WR from this draft

He has had pure crap throwing him the ball while being consistently TRIPLE TEAMED and still managed to put up the gaudy numbers. Imagine him with a real QB. Wow.

RIP Nick Adenhart

This guy is good

I dunno why he’s not a first rounder to most people, you know he’s going to contribute as a rookie for sure

I love Sanu, but Blackmon is better. Sanu will be very, very good in the NFL, though.
