Stanford OT Jonathan Martin, possible top 10 pick in NFL Draft, goes pro
The latest to turn pro in a wild day of declarations is Stanford junior left tackle Jonathan Martin. He follows Andrew Luck as the second Stanford player to enter the 2012 NFL Draft.
@MooseMartin55 I have decided to forgo my final year of eligibility and enter the NFL draft. Thank you to everyone who has loved and supported me

Martin has started since his redshirt freshman season at Stanford, protecting Luck's blindside for the past three seasons. Because of the great need for left tackles in the NFL, it's unlikely that Martin falls out of the top 10 in the draft. He's very good in a lot of areas — agility, taking on power rushers, making adjustments throughout the game, moving outside in pass protection — but he's not elite.
Up next for the Cardinal is a decision from right guard David DeCastro. Many expect him to enter the draft as well.
