Florida State DE Brandon Jenkins bypasses 2012 NFL Draft
Florida State defensive end Brandon Jenkins won't enter the 2012 NFL Draft, according to Warchant.com, the Rivals.com Florida State website.
Jenkins struggled at times as a junior as he faced multiple blockers often and was learning to play more without his hand in the ground. As Bud Elliott of SB Nation FSU site Tomahawk Nation correctly notes, Jenkins also showed marked improvement in run defense this season. On the season, Jenkins had 41 tackles with 12 for a loss and 8 sacks.
If Jenkins continues along his developmental pace, he should be one of the best 3-4 outside linebacker prospects in the 2013 NFL Draft. Jenkins doesn't have elite speed around the corner, but he shows suddenness and improving instincts.
His return also gives the Seminoles one of the nation's best pass rushing groups. Along with Jenkins, the Seminoles have possible first-round pick Bjoern Werner and senior-to-be Cornelius Carradine.
Cornerbacks Greg Reid and Xavier Rhodes have not announced their draft intentions yet. Rhodes, a redshirt sophomore, is coming off a good Champ Sports Bowl performance where he impressively used bump-and-run coverage against Notre Dame's Michael Floyd.

Disappointing. I was hoping he would come out.
The Cowboys need the largest pool of 3-4 OLBs as possible.
If I had a nickel for every Super Bowl the Eagles have won, I would have zero nickels.
