2012 NFL Draft: Pro day dates coming in
Pro day dates have begun trickling out and NFL.com has the list of those scheduled thus far. It's posted after the jump. This list isn't final and some dates will change. Some quick thoughts:
- Boise State shares the March 22 date with Stanford and Baylor also on the docket. That's not good news for Broncos quarterback Kellen Moore, who needs as many NFL eyes on him as possible.
- March 7 will be a busy day with Alabama, California, Oklahoma State, Southern California, Texas A&M and Wisconsin among those holding workouts that day.
- Circle March 24, which is when Arizona State has its pro day. We'll get a much better feel then of where quarterback Brock Osweiler and linebacker Vontaze Burfict may land in the draft.
- In addition to these pro days, we'll also start seeing some individual workout days for players who are injured. Oklahoma's Ryan Broyles just started running last week, so he may be a player with a late workout date in mind.
- March 1: Missouri
- March 2: Cincinnati

kind of a kick in the nuts for Moore
Helluva a way to be treated by your school, aftre the career he had. Same day as both Luck and RGIII>

I'm sure he's used to it by now

Oh yeah I agree
just thinking whoever scheduled the pro day could have hit a better date with that damn dart.

you are right, but to paint a silver lining
the teams that are looking at Luck and RG3 with one of the top 2-4 picks are probably not the same teams looking at Moore as a back-up in the 5th or 6th round.
Yeah that's true also teams need to be able to attend several pro days at once anyways
I like Moore and think he’ll wind up being underdrafted. He and Wilson both are probably not good enough to ever feel safe if they wound up starting somewhere. But I think both could pull it off.

I heard something about mini combines or regional combines beginning this year. Have you heard anything along those lines?

I heard they'll start next year.

Oh cool I was beginning to wonder, thanks.
At least someones heard something. it’s one of those things I heard only once and was beginning to think maybe someone just thought it would be a good idea.

They, and any others not on there, probably haven’t released the day yet. Georgia isn’t on there, for instance.
