Mocking the Draft Live Draft Update

Hey guys. We have filled most of the spots for the Live Draft but there are still some un-filled spots. Can you guys help me out and if you ever post on some of the other SB Nation boards that are unfilled, please let them know about this. Now, onto the business.
Unfilled Spots:
Oakland Raiders
Detroit Lions
Atlanta Falcons
New Orleans Saints
Filled Spots who have not sent a BPA list (This might be wrong - If you have sent it and you are on here let me know in the comments and I will look for it)
Houston Texans
San Diego Chargers
Dallas Cowboys
San Francisco 49ers
Green Bay Packers
After the jump see some of my initial rules and also some questions that I need you guys to answer.
Some Rules:
- The draft will be five rounds
- You must be present during the draft - If you know you won't be present, let me know and withdraw from the Draft
- For the first round you get five minutes to pick, the second round four, and all other rounds 3 minutes
- A trade will only involve current and future picks. NO players can be traded
- The subject line may only be used by myself and a GM when they are announcing a pick
- When you announce a pick, you should type: The (Insert full team Name) select (insert player name)
- All trades must be within 200 points on the trade value chart (linked below) or be approved by GM vote (all the GMs present at the draft vote yes or no)
- If you are not present for your pick or take too long to make the pick, I will make your pick for you using your BPA list
Some Questions:
- On Friday the 17th, what time is best to start the draft? I was thinking around 6PM
- If for some reason I am not available, who is willing to take over the pick timer and running the spreadsheets?
- If we don't finish on Friday (which is very likely) what time would you want to do this on Saturday? (Also note, we MUST finish on Saturday because I am leaving Sunday morning for a vacation)
- Some of the draft order won't be determined until the combine. For those spots which are not determined, how do you want to determine them (coin flip, online random generator, etc)?
If it's deemed spam, it gets deleted.

Do the Raiders have any picks except for comps? That’s why you have no volunteers for them.
6 PM is early, but you don’t have much of a choice if you are trying to do so many rounds at once. I won’t be around for the start, but I should be here later, I can help if you need it.

I think the rams want to trade down more than anything, so by telling teams that they WILL take RG3 if there isn’t a trade, maybe they can force a trade down.

They won't have to.
In the real draft whoever wants RGIII will not rely on getting him by trading with the Vikes. They’ll realize that they have to go to the #2 pick. In fact by the time it rolls around it may even be a toss up between Luck and RGIII for the Colts.

I’d be glad to represent my favorite team for this draft. The catch is I’m only in for Friday. I know plenty of the PoD community and can get an assistant to take over for me should this spill over to Saturday.

good stuff. My answers:
1. I’d say 6 or 7 pm EST sounds good
2. I have no idea but I’m sure someone will step up when we get to it
3. A good start time for Saturday would be 1 pm EST (it gives everyone a chance to be fully awake)

Since we know we can't get to 5 rounds on Friday (likely), how about we divide it up
Rounds 1-2 on Friday and 3-5 on Saturday. Seems much easier to manage knowing when we’re stopping instead of just stopping in the middle of a round and picking back up the next day.

The top 2 yield 2 different charts. While I figure it’s the commonly accepted one like used at Drafttek it would be easier to include a link to the exact one rather than being a smartass and doing that google search…

I could do Raiders
1) 6:00 works fine for me.
2) Pretty much anyone at Silver and Black Pride would love to.
3) I could do anytime on Saturday. I’ve got no problems there. I get up around 9 AM EST and could go anytime from there
4) Whatever works for the rest of you. I don’t mind, just whatever works.

200 points is way to much difference for trades
that like the jets moving up from 48 to 30 for free . 200 points is the same as giving away the 78th pick of the draft .
the standard was set last year with what atlanta and the saints had to give up to move up in the draft . draft picks are worth even more now there is a rookie salary cap so we should try and stay as close to reality as possible otherwise we may as well pick 3 players per pick because that’s how likely a team would give up a 3rd for nothing .
to devalue everyone’s picks by 200 will only help the teams that want to trade up , not down . if someone want’s to move up for luck in the real draft chances are the pick will be worth 3500 to 4000 points not 2800 . after all its a mock draft not a fantasy draft .

most everyone knows the trade chart (or should) and both sides have to agree on a trade.
this rule was only put in place to make sure a crazy trade, especially in the first round does not occur
so why not put it at 20 points instead ?
200 points is a massive difference . how is not have to hand over a 3rd round pick not going to be crazy ? why can’t the rule be at least chart value but you can offer up to 200 points over the value ? because that rule doesn’t help the guys who want to trade up with guys who will give away their pick for less .

people who want to trade up will say my offer is within 200 points so take it or i’ll just find some other idiot who will .
why not say you have to offer chart value minimum but can offer 200 points more ? is it because that doesn’t help the people who want to trade up ?
it seems like these trade rules are always favoured towards giving the guy who want to trade up , more value than their picks are worth and devalue’s the picks of the guys trading down.
i will be absolutely shocked if anyone offers more than chart value to move up .
these rules were the same last year and i got some seriously insulting offers from guys who basically wanted me to give away my pick . one guy offered me a 1st , 2nd and 6th to move up over 20+ places to the 6th pick . he would have to give me his 3rd , 4th and 5th to make it fair but instead found another to take advantage of and moved up anyway
