6 Round NFL Mock Draft

MADISON WI - SEPTEMBER 18: Omar Bolden #3 of the Arizona State Sun Devils returns a kick-off for a touchdown against the Wisconsin Badgers at Camp Randall Stadium on September 18 2010 in Madison Wisconsin. (Photo by Jonathan Daniel/Getty Images)

AS you all know, I normally don’t mock trades but this time I am going to. However, it is not going to be for the 2nd pick in the draft because I think the Rams are going to take Matt Kalil. However, I am going to have the Redskins trade up to the #3 spot and give up their 1st, 2nd, and 5th round picks.

Giants draft is very, very meh.

I hate Cordy Glenn cuz he’s a titty monster, but I guess he’s alright at the end of the first. After drafting him I see no point in Zebrie Sanders. Glenn most likely is a RT for the Giants, and LT is already occupied by Will Beatty for the foreseeable future. And I highly doubt the Giants are drafting 2 OLs. Beatty and Petrus are the youth for the OL, and they didn’t sign David Baas to be an injury plagued waste of space like he was this year, I expect him to be better.

Leonard Johnson is a solid player. But he’s 5"10. The Giants are one of those teams that simply will not draft certain players at certain positions (DB especially) if they aren’t the right size.

Bernard Pierce and George Bryan in the 4th and 5th however might give me a diamond erection. I could see others like Jeff Fuller (really falling that far???) or AJ JEnkins being a BPA pick somehwere along there, but they fit needs and if they were 2nd and 3rd rounders I wouldn’t argue.

Also, I gave you Sanders and Johnson because they were BPA at the point you guys were picking

What is your view on Marcus Forston as a 5th or 6th round pick for the Giants (more likely a 5th)? He fits the mold of a freak athlete that the Giants like

Forston would be a perfect fit

tho I realyl do think the Giants start going with “need” in the 4th and beyond so Pierce (Jacobs is probably going) and Bryan (2 TEs with ACL tears) are likely needs.

A little oversimplified

I’d say that the Giants simply weigh BPA over need more than other teams, especially in the 1st round or two. They also do not rank needs that much, but rather have their pool of needs and are willing to take the best player that fills any one of them. Last year they did not plan to take Amukamara, Austin, or Greg Jones, but grabbed each one simply because he was there.

My QB has 2 rings. Well, 3 if you want to get technical.

Don't want two of 'em. I disagree with Rorsch on Cordy Glenn as a prospect...he's my favorite prospect (in our draft range)

Dennard or Barron would work as well. So great work in the first. Glenn would compete with Brewer and Diehl (McKenzie is probably gone) and would be an emergency G as well.

Don’t want Zebrie because I think that’s a little overkill. Dwight Jones would give me a “diamond erection” as well.

Sanders is a wimp

Same reason your Steelers will not draft him. Brewer is waiting in the wings at RT as well. Give us Dwight Jones to replace the soon-to-be-departed Manningham, this draft works.

We drafted Austin last year. Our freak athlete at DT. Though in the 5th or 6th, Forston could get a look.

My QB has 2 rings. Well, 3 if you want to get technical.

Dwight Jones is awful.

You don’t “replace” a fast, sudden athlete like Manningham with a relatively inflexible, guy like Jones. Jones is high on the list of people I don’t want the Giants to draft.

To be honest, I don’t think that he’s be a GREAT redzone threat either. Sure he can go up and get a ball or two, but does he have the quickness to work in small spaces? I don’t think so.

I actually like McNutt better and I see he is still available

I like Jones. My chief concern would be his frame, it looks like he is skin and bones. Manningham is skinny but not noticeably so.

I ask both of you to wait until the combine for Jones.

Based on what I’ve seen, I think he could break a sub-4.5. If that’s the case, he’s at the very least a 2nd rounder.

Chris Polk/Ryan Broyles

Based on this board I’d take Polk at the end of rd 2 and Broyles in rd 4.

If Broyles is healthy he seems like the exact kind of player who would thrive in the giants Offensive system

No problems with the Glenn pick, he doesn’t look athletic, but he is pretty athletic and versatile so he fits the Giants well. Besides the Giants seem to want athletes more at the Guard Position who can move around and run the Tackles aren’t asked to block in space as much

Kudos for doing a 6 rounder

I struggled for too many hours to do 1 round, so you earned my Rec for that. As for the mock itself, I find it hard to believe Ingram falls to Green Bay but Mercilus jumps to the Bills.

Jeffery and Still

I think are top half of the first round guys. Just my two cents on two players that I think are for whatever reason underrated at this stage in the draft process. Maybe if I have a couple hours I will write a post about Jeffery because I keep seeing this guy mocked around 20 when I think he’s top 10 talent.
I like the Chargers picks with the exception of the first round, Nick Perry is borderline first round talent. And with Still and Jeffery on the board I think that pick would be a la Larry piece of trash English. And I really cant afford to break another flat screen although they are cheaper now then back in 09. Great work as always and thank you

I think he reminds too many people of Mike Williams coming out of USC

He’s big, but not a great athlete like Calvin Johnson. He’s also got the body type that he could easily get up to about 240. He’s had weight problems in the past (just google “Alshon Jeffery fat” and you’ll see what I mean. He didn’t do much his junior year (I know they had shitty QB play) so you kind of have to watch more film from when he was younger, and frankly smaller. I think he’s a poor man’s Plaxico, a red zone threat, but not much else. Too many question marks to take high in the first round. His combine numbers are going to make or break him. If he’s 230+ and runs a 4.6 or higher, he’s going to be a 3rd rounder. If he’s thin and runs a low 4.5, he’ll be back in the mix for mid first round.

Mind boggling

doesnt even begin to describe it. To me Jeffery looks like a number one WR, maybe not week one I guess; but definitely year 2. I can’t find anything he really does poorly. Good hands, prototypical size, more than enough straight up ridiculous circus catches, no off the field stuff, and after he catches the ball he is perhaps at his best. He has to be a top 10 pick, top half at least. He is projected to run a sub 4.55 at nearly 230 lbs, that is ridiculous

Can you please make this happen for the Seahawks?

I LOVE the way you’ve mocked it for the Hawks. Richardson/Lynch is a dominant one-two RB punch. I love McClellin, Cox and Jones for the front 7, and Osweiler is a steal in the 4th. But I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, after the evaluations are done, Osweiler is going to be a first-rounder.

However, Buffalo likely gets our 5th rounder to complete the Marshawn trade.

It’s conditional, but I don’t see any way Beast Mode didn’t reach whatever the clauses were.

Seeing Upshaw fall past us makes me a bit sad, but I can’t deny grabbing Richardson there!

Work hard, play harder, rest easy.

by jwolf0 on Feb 8, 2012 7:32 PM EST up reply actions

Agreed - great draft

Hard to argue with Richardson – makes a great 1/2 punch and helps ensure that there’ll be a solid RB that can execute the same game plan when Lynch gets injured or starts to decline. Cox and Osweiler are great value picks that also fill needs.

I’m not sure where McClellin fits in given the current personnel – in a 4-3 I see him more as a DE than an LB. Would’ve preferred a WLB there (or if Hawthorne walks an SLB allowing Wright to move to MLB).

As pointed out, we spent our 5th rounder this year on Lynch (I think we already got solid value out of this pick…) but I like the upside of Jones there.

I expect Osweiler and Jones to move way up the boards after the combine and wouldn’t be surprised to see Cox jump into the end of the first as well.

But for now, I’ll enjoy the dream.

by Senepol on Feb 8, 2012 8:35 PM EST up reply actions

I love it too

If the draft works out this way for us, I’ll sell my house, move to Seattle and buy seaon tickets. Osweiler in the 4th I can accept, I could even stomach him in the 3rd… I am a non-believer he is anything more than that. I’d prefer about 5 other QBs over him (aside for Luck and RG3).

by tarryhawk on Feb 8, 2012 8:45 PM EST up reply actions

Yes this would be awesome for Seattle.

I love all the first 5 picks for Seattle although I think Osweiler and Jones don’t slip past the 3rd and I may be on a limb on this but I think both go 2nd.

Jaguars

1) I like the Coples pick. How realistic it is, I am not so sure. I think Martin is a MUCH more realistic pick but for the sake of a mock, I think Coples is a great pick.

2) I think this is too high for Streeter. I envision him more as a 3rd round prospect. I think Criner or Osemele would be better value and more likely at the pick.

3) I don’t hate the pick, but I feel like Boykin is a better CB to take. Matt Schwartz, Ben Jones, and Marvin McNutt are also better picks in my opinion.

4)Joe Adams, Harrison Smith(who coordinating to Mayock is now looking like a second rounder who might sneak into the first), and Cam Johnson are all better picks. This pick I do not even like.

5)Interesting selection. I think he is pretty decent value in the 5th round and could get on board with the selection. I still though think a guy like Marvin Jones or Jarius Wright is hard to pass up in the 5th round.

6)Once again, I do not hate the pick, but I see much better value for the pick.

Nice work on the 6 round mock

but I’m not a fan of this draft for the Bengals

I’m not high on Jenkins and I doubt the Bengals will want to deal with Adam Jones 2.0. It’s a risky pick. I would probably prefer Gilmore at pick 21.

Miller provides a home run threat that they’ve never really had at RB. So that’s a decent pick, but I think there’s better value at RB in the 2nd.

Stephen Hill is the 10th WR off the board in the first 53 picks, which isn’t unheard of, but it’s a lot. And Hill’s not a particularly polished or accomplished player (yeah, I know he played in a bad system for WRs), but that still seems like a reach to me. With two spots they need to fill at Guard, I think they’d go OG (maybe Zeitler?) there.

Our Head coach has directly said that DT is not an area of concern or focus.
Our 2nd oldest player on the entire D-Line is 26.
Our GM is a very strong believer in BPA.
We took 2 DTs early last year.
several of our young DTs showed a lot of improvement towards the end of the year
Brockers is a very raw and high risk player with very little immediate reward

It seems to be the way most people see it when they do a mock.

I think most people start taking into account the FA we don’t have signed, Carr for instance. When I look at a mock I like to take into account only players that KC doesn’t want or are going to retire.
Mock Redraft:
Round 1. I can live with this pick
-
Round 2. There are plenty of players that KC could take here over a CB. Most of these guys are on the D. Pretty much one for every lvl of the D. M. Martin-FS, V. Burfict-LB, D.Poe- NT, A.Ta’amu- NT. If they wanted to go offense they would look at D.Allen- TE or C.Fleener, TE.
-
Round 3: Once again I can’t see KC taking a QB here if at all in this draft. They won’t go into the season with Cassel/Cousins/Stanzi. Depending on where they go in round 2 will determine what is taken here. J.Chapman-NT, B.Jones-C, A.Cole-ILB, S.Kelemente-OG.
-
After round 3 it is a crap shoot. I would like to see the draft go like this:
Round 1. Reiff- OT
Round 2. Poe- NT
Round 3. Cole- ILB
Round 4. Allen- S
Round 5. Rodriguez-TE (same as mock)

In general I think it's a bit off, but Cousins is a perfect choice in the 3rd

He’s got the tools, seems to be NFL ready – some think he’s the #4 QB in this draft. Needs to develop some, but if Orton doesn’t stay, then you’ve got Cassell, Stanzi, and Cousins.

Josh Robinson CB Central Florida
The bottom line is that he is a reactive corner and not an instinctual one. In order to take his game to the next level, he’ll have to learn the finer nuances of the position and is not a first or second round prospect as some think.

Robinson projects as a fifth round pick in the 2012 NFL Draft.

How about in the 3ed Kelemente instead of Cole
Then in the 4th James-Michael Johnson instead of James.
5th we either stay with the guard or pick Bradham or Jones depending on how we like more.
the 6th stays the same

Tip of the cap for doing a 6 rounder. For the most part I really like the picks you made, especially Kuechly, Worthy, Boykin, and Quick. I don’t like the Allen pick though. We don’t need a new starting TE and we don’t really use 2 TE sets, I’d rather us pick up Lavonte David or Bobby Wagner with that pick. Fun fact, Gronk finished 1st in yards after the catch amongst tight ends, Hernandez finished 2nd, and SURPRISE Brent Celek finished 3rd. No need to grab a TE before the 4th for us.

Colts

Not too wild about some of the picks.

2:I think Gilmore is wildly overrated and cannot start in the NFL right away, which is what the Colts need. Barron or Dennard are better picks.

3:I’m ok with Zeitler, but Heyward offers a lot of upside, especially if they go with Barron in the second.

4:I’m ok with Hilton and could see Quick or Molk as well.

5: I think Pagano will dip into free agency to get a nose tackle. It’d be tough to pass on Broyles or Brooks.

6: If you go Barron in the second (which I think they would), then I think Foreman offers a huge steal in the sixth.

All in all, not a great draft.

I like the draft a bit more than you, but think you have a point pretty much everywhere

main complaint is that SS seems to be pretty far down on the list of needs you (SH&S) are working with when it’s one of the biggest holes on the team. Bullett hasn’t been healthy in 3 years and the UDFAs from last year weren’t up to the task. Bethea and Powers are the only guys I trust in the secondary.

I think they’d go on a UDFA or late rounder (maybe the kid from Canada). If they could get Ta’amu or Chapman at a value I could see it, but things didn’t shake out that way in the draft.

One thing that won’t change from Polian to Grigson is an emphasis on value. The Colts need two receivers to get their corps back up to five and Broyles is the kind of guy I’d want to pair with a young QB. I’m a Miami University alum so I’m a bit biased toward Brooks, but the guy looks like he can play at a high level (though I’d personally go Broyles in the fifth and then guy Foreman in the sixth because I think Foreman will be a steal)

49ers draft....

Yes, they need a OG, preferrably on the right side. And they love to use high picks on O-linemen. But there is no way they are going to use 3 picks on O-line in the 3,4 & 6th round this year. Their starting o-line currently has #1 draft picks at LT,LG & RT, then you have C Johnathan Goodwin, the ex-probowler Saint thats signed to a 3 year deal.

Also as for WR in the 1st round don’t see them taking one just because of need, outside of Blackmon ALL these prospects have their flaws, heck even blackmon has his flaws. They are better equipped taking going FA route, when you have VJax,DJax,Bowie & Stevie out there on the market. Since I believe they have over 50mill in cap space once March hits. Then they might take a WR in the mid rounds such as a Criner/McNutt/Adams.

Lastly IF 49ers can’t trade up to get a Konz for that hole at RG or can’t trade back out of #30, then they will go BPA. Which will be a CB/OLB/S at #30. Because not only a need for that team but at #30 their will be better overall prospects at secondary & OLB than at WR in this draft.

IF they can't trade up for Konz & have to pick at #30

1a. CB/S (have to resign Rogers & Goldson, back ups are FA’s as well ie. Reggie Smith)
1b. OLB ( thin at this position after Aldon & Haralson, team has to re-sign Brooks the starter on other side)
3. WR (put this here because they will go FA & draft one as well)
4. OG preferably on the right side
5. RB (yes they have Gore & Hunter but they are looking for another not overly joyed with Dixon eventhough he’s not bad at special teams)
6. BPA maybe another CB/S/OLB

Former #1 pick Chilo Rachal, which will not be back at all. As a ‘SC fan hard to say this but he is marginal at best (seriously other 49er fans will say I’m being nice here). Good run blocker but horrible in passing situations. And Snyder is better as a utility man used from C to both OG possitions hence him starting. He was a big reason in why Gore had 5 consecutive 100yd games once inserted into the line-up.

Actually I think you did ok...

3 OL maybe not needed, but they have glaring need at WR, Josh Morgan and Ted Ginn are both UFA, Crabtree is really it, Wright is good pick there, they need WR depth that could also PR/KR if Ginn is not retained.

Carlos Rodgers is a UFA and likely will be resigned, but he’s aging so even a depth CB (which you have in Fleming).

SS Goldson is also a UFA and likely resigned, but depth there is needed
OLB Brooks is also a UFA and likely franchised but a depth guy would be ok.
RT or RG – I read Anthony Davis could move inside to G if a good RT is drafted or signed or he could man there for another year but RG is a need… 2 linemen are not bad to draft.

although you should probably add middle linebacker to an area of need. Probably just behind safety (which i doubt will be addressed very early in the draft, most likely will be a need fixed through free agency) cornerback, and DT. I would put it about equal with RB in terms of need.

Curious as to why you think ILB is 3rd on list of needs for the Cardinals.

I wouldn’t consider it a need position at this time at all. They appear to be very comfortable with Paris Lenon, Daryl Washington and Stewart Bradley. They could possibly use some depth behind those three, although they do still have last year’s 6th round pick Quan Sturdivant on the practice squad. I would think a pass rusher at OLB would be of much greater interest to them.

Still don’t think Richardson will drop that low. Top 10 for sure.

Don’t think Kirkpatrick will though that high.

Love the Jenkins to Cincinnati pick. It’s perfect.

Still think Still and Jeffrey are underrated.

Love Minnifield in 1st Round. Dominate player in zone coverage.

How is Jarrett Boykin not going in the top 6 rounds?

Who in the top 10 will take him?

Colts – No Chance
Rams – No Chance
Vikings – No Chance
Browns – RB is much lower on the need list than QB, RT, and WR
Bucs – CB, LB, and WR are MUCH bigger needs
Redskins – Need QB and WR much more
Jaguars – NO Chance
Dolphins – Unlikely – RT, QB, and Rush LB are massive needs
Panthers – Very unlikely. Huge needs at DT and CB.
Bills – No Chance

Richardson

First, me being a Seahawk fan, I hope you are right and he drops to us.
I agree with your Bucs assessment, and drafting Claiborne and Dennard is genius. CB is fairly deep though and I could see them taking Richardson, Dennard and say Heyward in the 3rd, but absolutely nothing wrong with how you have it.
There is a chance that a couple of other teams take him, but I think you have it right if TB goes your route.
Very well done overall… impressive.

by tarryhawk on Feb 8, 2012 9:31 PM EST up reply actions

I think Browns or Bucs will take him.

If Washington jumps up to take RGIII, I think Cleveland has to decide between Blackmon or Richardson.

Bucs will need to decide between Clairborne and Richardson. I think Schiano, who is coach who likes to run the ball, would prefer RB in that position.

Miami probbaly won’t take a Rush LB or QB at that spot. They’d be picking between Reilly/Martin and Richardson.

I think Richardson will be a beast at the combine and end up going top 10.

Also like the Jets mock, but

I’d rather draft a SS first because it is a bigger deal. Jim Leonhard might be back, and he is a solid starter whereas Brodney Pool at SS was actually benched for Eric Smith, and that’s saying something. Also, I’d hate to draft a G. Really. We don’t need one at the moment, because Brandon Moore is getting it done right now and I’d rather draft for impact players, like a RB or another WR.

If the Texans get a WR with their first pick, they won't pass up Derek Wolfe with their second rd pick

He’s the type of guy that fits their defense perfectly. They need another inside pass rusher to spell Watt and Smith, and also someone who can get some snaps at the nose. Wolfe can do all of those things.

What picks don't fit?

1. Richardson is BPA, sure – do you think he doesn’t fit the scheme? Need a successor/backup to Lynch and its hard to pass on talent like that.
2. Cox can be the athletic 3-tech to help Clemons with the pass rush.
3. McClellin doesn’t seem like a good scheme fit to me, agreed. Maybe DE? Maybe SLB?
4. Osweiller has a cannon, decent mobility and seems to work through progressions pretty well, which seems to be what PC looks for.
5. Jones is a great athlete (we don’t have this pick anyway) that can slot in at LEO.
6. Cunningham – I know nothing about him, but its the 6th round so this could just be BPA.

I see pretty good scheme fits for 3 of the first 4 picks, with some questions around McClellin. Who do you think doesn’t fit the scheme?

Jags

Remock:

1. Quinton Coples DE North Carolina – Pick up starting DE, to start across from Mincey/FA.
2. Josh Norman CB Coastal Carolina – To start across from Cox, or develop behind a re-signed Mathis.
3. Marvin McNutt WR Iowa – Sit behind a veteran or two and develop.
4. Joe Adams WR Arkansas – Sit behind a veteran or two and develop
5. Emmanuel Acho LB Texas – Pick up a stud LB to develop, and be a rotational player along Russell Allen.
6. Michael Egnew TE Missouri – Unite Gabbert with his best receiving target from college, replaces Zach Potter, and will get the nod in double tight forms, if Zach Milelr keeps getting hurt.

Just so you can update your Arizona needs list, and stop picking Floyd.

Your needs list:

Arizona (8-8) – RT, WR, ILB, DE, Rush LB, RG, CB, QB, NT, K, P

Actual needs list:
OT (either side), rush 34 OLB, speed WR, RG, DT, SS, ILB, depth DE, K, P

Michel Floyd is a great WR, however his skill set is more like Fitz. The Cards will be looking for a speed guy to stretch the field opposite of Fitz.

I'd switch DT and ILB for Cards needs

Dan Williams and David Carter are both young with plenty of upside. Lenon is getting older, and Bradley may not be a fit on our defense. IMO a lot more uncertainty, and need for new blood at the SILB spot.

Also, I wouldn’t be opposed to Floyd. Currently, he’s about 7th on my realistic 1st round draft selections wishlist, Martin, Rieff, DeCastro, Upshaw, Mercilus, Adams, and Floyd, but I still see him being a good fit on our offense. Roberts can slide into the slot and fill the speed WR role.

I like the Texans draft until it gets to the 4th round

They will not draft a CB at all in this draft. They’ll address CB in free agency. They have enough young inexperienced CBs as is. I can see a point where they trade back out of the 4th round to get Denver’s two 5th round picks, then with the three 5th round picks they’ll have, they can get Ladarius Green, Nigel Bradham, & Marvin Jones

1-Coples I agree

Ummmm, the Titans are not gonna use 3 of their first 4 picks on interior lineman.

I understand its a huge concern, but I can only see us picking 2 interior lineman at max in this years draft. That also, we’ll probably use 1 early pick and 1 mid-late pick on a guard/centre, as this year’s class is really deep (not 3 early picks). We’re probably keeping Harris and Amano at their respective starting positions this year, and I think we might be looking to add someone from free agency, which is why we won’t be using too many picks on interior lineman (though I think 2-3 is the right amount, but not too many early picks on them). Also, the Titans have really no history of using early picks on o-lineman, but I feel that this year will be an exception, as it is a major need.

I also think that we’re gnna use more picks for our defense than our offense. Munchak has publicly stated that he is looking for a playmaking defender with his early picks. It’ll probably be an edge rusher in the first round, as there is no safety worth taking at pick 20 (assuming Barron is gone, which will be likely).

Taking 2 Tackles in the 3rd. I love the McCants pick, and would been happy with Massie had the first 3rd rounder been different. With Carimi looking promising in limited action last year, drafting 2 Tackles would create a log jam.

Good draft for Buffalo

Though rush LB isn’t a need anymore. Buffalo needs a strongside LB that’s more like a traditional 4-3 OLB.

No to Russell Wilson. I see so many mocks with Wilson going to the Bills. Why? Buffalo runs a short passing game, where the QB is dropping 3- and 5- steps, and making quick throws. That’s what Wilson isn’t good at. The idea that Chan Gailey wants a mobile QB is mostly not true.

Beyond that, I would be happy with Buffalo adding Ingram and Johnson to the pass rush.

Love the DeCastro pick. I’m not a big fan of Hosley, give us Norman instead . I’d normally love Ben Jones in the 3rd but we already got DeCastro and we really need some help on defense, take George Iloka in the 3rd. Tayler is meh in the 4th, I’d take Reyes over him. Acho isn’t a great fit for us what would he play? ILB or OLB? either way Trumaine Johnson isn’t anywhere in this mock and he’d be a nice steal in the 5th. Another #94 from troy, Jonathan Massaquoi in the 6th would be a great pick up.

I also dont like Mercilus

Everyone thinks he can be a 3-4 OLB, but I really just dont see it. I think he’s overrated in general, but he’s not athletic enough to play 3-4 OLB unless he’s a project. And as for RB. I would not touch a RB unless it was Richardson dropping to #32 (won’t happen) or it’s Lamar Miller at the end of the 2nd. The problem with Martin is he’s not an upgrade, he’s just another dude to add to a big commitee of average, young RBs which we barely need because we throw so much.

Vikings

First off, nice work on the 6 rounder. Vikings draft was so-so.

I don’t like that you waited so long to address OT, especially with Martin and Reiff on the board. I also don’t like that you addressed WR that early. I think the 3rd round would be the earliest to look at WRs. I fully expect the Vikings to target Vincent Jackson, Dwayne Bowe or Pierre Garcon in Free agency.

You did make up for the 1st and 2nd round picks with the trade and by getting good value in the 3rd and 5th rounds (Wagner and Brooks, respectively).

Also I believe the Redskins own the Vikings 6th round pick (McNabb) and the Vikings own the Browns 6th round pick (Mitchell).

I know I’m beating a dead horse here cause I think I’ve said this on the past few mocks, but there is no way in hell they use their first two picks on OL, and ESPECIALLY not three of their first four. In fact, it wouldn’t surprise me if the earliest they took an OL was the third round, though second is possible. With big needs on the DL and at CB, S and maybe even WR, and with Mike Munchak believing in his ability to coach up guys, there is no way they’re going to use that many early picks on OL and no way they’ll even draft that many OL guys.
