2009 NFL Draft: Outside Linebackers

QB | RB | FB | WR | TE | OT | OG | OC | DT | DE | OLB | ILB | CB | FS | SS | All Rankings

1. Aaron Curry | 6'2, 246 pounds | Wake Forest

Curry combines size, speed and athleticism into a rare package. He can rush the passer and stop the run. Curry is the top linebacker in this year's class by some margin.

Scouting Report

2. Brian Cushing6'4, 255 pounds | USC

Cushing is an intimidating presence at linebacker who is packed with great athleticism and strength. Cushing can play on the strong side or put his hand down and play end.

Scouting Report

3. Clint Sintim | 6'3, 254 pounds | Virginia

A pass rush specialist in the 3-4 defense, Sintim is quick off the snap and physical at the line. He'll have to adjust his game if a 4-3 team drafts him, however.

Scouting Report

4.  Larry English | 6'3, 254 pounds | Northern Illinois

English excelled in the Mid-American Conference as a defensive end, but size limitations will force him to linebacker in the pros. He's got a lot to prove, but has the athleticism to do so.
