2009 NFL Draft: Quarterbacks
QB | RB | FB | WR | TE | OT | OG | OC | DT | DE | OLB | ILB | CB | FS | SS | All Rankings
| 1. Matt Stafford | 6'3, 237 pounds | Georgia | ||
Physically, Stafford has everything a team would want in a quarterback. He has good size and an incredible arm. He has the strength to make any throw on the field and can read defenses. |
| 2. Mark Sanchez | 6'3, 225 pounds | USC | ||
Sanchez is a big-armed quarterback prospect who started one year at USC. While he probably should have returned for his senior season, he has the tools and intelligence to become a good NFL signal caller. |
| 3. Josh Freeman | 6'6, 248 pounds | Kansas State | ||
He has a powerful arm and good touch. However, he is very mechanically flawed and will need a patient quarterbacks coach. |
| 4. Nate Davis | 6'1, 218 pounds | Ball State |
Although a little on the short side, Davis can make just about every NFL throw. Coming from Ball State's spread offense, he'll just have to show he can read pro defenses. |
