The rosters are being set and there could still be some changes.  Here is who we have designated to play in the Fall League as of right now.

Hanson, Marek, Heath, Medlen, Flowers, Pope, and Brandon Jones.  I believe the rules prohibit more than 1 player below AA to play and Tyler Flowers fits that bill.  My guess is that Heyward will make his debut in Arizona Fall League next season.

I know a bunch of people weren't able to make it into the Stampede Blue Fantasy Football leagues.  I was somehow lucky enough and am looking forward to the season.

However, I am also in another league on Fleaflicker that is a keeper league.  We currently have two openings and the open teams have players such as Brady, Tomlinson, and Peterson.  If you would like to takeover one of these teams, please let me know your email address and I'll shoot you over an invite.

So it looks like we'll get a top 10 pick in the draft next season.  Although some are calling it a weak draft class there is definitely some good looking prospects.

Here are some options:

Grant Green:  USC SS, Can he play 3B?  He's been lighting up the Cape Cod league.  He is a 5-tool player but may not make it out of the top 3 players picked.

Alex White: UNC RHP.  Good movement on a 96 mph fastball.  Shouldn't take too long to reach the majors.  May not make it out of the top 5.

Strasburg and Ackley won't make it to our pick.

Aaron Crow?  He didn't sign with the Nats and should spend little time in the minors once drafted next season.

If we go with a High Schooler we could take the local kid Tate.  Do we really want to spend another 1st rounder on an OF though?  There's also Givens (SS) and Purke (LHP).

What would you ask for from the D-Backs, Rays, Red Sox, and Yankees?

Here's my stab at this:

DBacks :  Tex for Chad Tracy, Micah Owings, and Cesar Valdez.

Rays: Tex and Ohman for Niemann, Ryan Reid, and Jesse Darcy

Red Sox: Tex and Ohman for Bowden, Bard, and Reddick

Yankees: Tex for Dellin Betances, Jeffrey Marquez, and Brad Suttle

Of course I'm sure there's no way we'll get these kind of returns.

3rd Round: I'll stick with Schafer thank you very much.

My wife and I are currently living in Texas and because she is from Houston we are planning a trip down there to see the game in October.  However, I have a few questions...

First of all, we are expecting our first kid in the beginning of September and want to take him to the game.  Do we have to purchase a ticket for a one month old?

Secondly, what is the best way to score the tickets?  I've been on stubhub and they have plenty on there.  Is there another site or does anyone know somebody that might want to sell?

How are the Texans fans toward opposing fans and what section would I want to sit in?

This will be my wife's first football game and obviously our son's first game as well.  This will also be my first Colts game though I have been to plenty Saints games and quite a few college games too.

Anyone else planning on being at this particular game?

A recent discussion over at Big Cat Country got me thinking, why are you a Colts fan?

For me it all started in the early 90s.  I'm not from Indianapolis and have never been there so it was a football card that turned me.  One of the first football cards I ever had was a Zefross Moss card.  I was only a kid and the name sounded cool so I immediately liked him and the Colts.  From there I went on to be a huge Faulk fan and of course things got better when Peyton arrived.

So why do you cheer for the Colts?

I know this isn't about the Colts but it is about a division rival.

Matt Jones was arrested for having cocaine and possibly weed in a parked car.  He was already pretty much a bust but with this happening he might just get released.  The Jags were already thin enough with Wide Receivers and this just adds to all the problems.

Does he end up with Dallas or Cincinatti?
